How to beat butt sweat

August 30, 2008 · 2 Comments

A friend of mine — who shall remain anonymous – recently starting riding her bike a lot. She enjoys it a great deal, but discovered an unwanted side effect: Butt sweat.

No one likes hot, clammy, sticky butt sweat. So she asked if I had any suggestions to defeat this enemy. Read below for my response:

I don’t believe anyone’s invented anti-perspirent for butts. My best defense was always my Patagonia underwear, but that got lost somewhere in Nebraska. Jess reports that her Patagonia underwear handles butt sweat “fairly well — I’ve never had a major problem with it.” Also, it will be cold soon and butt sweat will not be such an  issue. So you can look forward to that.

Admitedly, not the greatest advice. Anyone else have any butt-sweat defense measures?
